Customs & Import Taxes

Customs & Import Taxes

We want you to be fully informed about any additional costs that may apply to your international order before it arrives.

Who Is Responsible?

All Mauna Vibes orders ship from the Dominican Republic with Fedex. For all international orders, the recipient (you) is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and brokerage fees imposed by your country’s customs authority. These charges are not included in your order total or shipping cost at checkout.

Important: Customs policies vary widely by country. We are unable to predict the exact amount you may be charged. We recommend contacting your local customs office or postal authority for an estimate before placing your order.

How Customs Charges Are Collected

Customs charges are typically collected by the carrier (e.g., USPS, FedEx, DHL) upon delivery or by your local postal service before releasing your package. You may receive a notice from the carrier requesting payment before your package is delivered.

  • Refusing to pay customs fees may result in your package being returned or destroyed
  • If a package is returned due to refused customs fees, return shipping costs will be deducted from any refund
  • We are unable to mark packages as “gifts” or undervalue declarations
  • All international shipments from Mauna Vibes include an accurate customs declaration listing the contents and their fair market value.

Delays Due to Customs

Although rare, international shipments may occasionally be delayed due to customs inspections or clearance procedures. These delays are outside the control of Mauna Vibes and the shipping carrier. If your package remains in customs for more than a 2 weeks, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
