Our Larimar originates from Barahona, the only known location in the world where this extraordinary blue gemstone is naturally found, while our Dominican Amber is carefully sourced through trusted partners across the country.
Every gemstone is individually selected for its natural beauty, quality, color, and unique character before being handcrafted into jewelry or offered as a collector specimen. About Gemological Certification
At present, the Dominican Republic does not have an official gemological laboratory dedicated exclusively to certifying Larimar.
For this reason, many established Dominican Larimar businesses, artisans, and retailers—including Mauna Vibes—provide their own Certificates of Authenticity based on direct sourcing, industry experience, careful inspection, and trusted supplier relationships.
Proof of Origin
Upon request, we are happy to provide available information regarding the origin of your gemstone, including sourcing details and supporting documentation when available.
Because we source directly within the Dominican Republic, we are able to provide customers with greater transparency regarding the origin of many of our materials.
