About Mauna Vibes

What is Mauna Vibes?

Mauna Vibes is a Dominican - US family-owned  jewelry and wellness brand founded in 2021 with a mission to share the beauty, craftsmanship, and natural treasures of the Dominican Republic with the world.

We specialize in authentic Larimar, Dominican Amber, natural gemstones, handcrafted jewelry, collector specimens, and one-of-a-kind artisan creations. Every piece is thoughtfully selected or handcrafted with care, combining exceptional craftsmanship, ethical sourcing, and timeless design.

Where are you located?

We are proudly based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where all of our products are carefully inspected, packaged, and shipped worldwide.

Being located in the Dominican Republic allows us to work directly with trusted miners, lapidaries, artisans, and suppliers while offering authentic Dominican Larimar and Amber directly from their country of origin.

What is Larimar?

Larimar is an exceptionally rare blue variety of pectolite found naturally only in Barahona, Dominican Republic.

Its beautiful ocean-blue colors are created by natural copper within the stone, and every piece displays unique patterns, matrix, and color variations, making no two stones exactly alike.

What is Dominican Amber?

Dominican Amber is fossilized tree resin estimated to be between 15 and 40 million years old.

Renowned for its exceptional clarity and natural inclusions, Dominican Amber is considered among the finest amber found anywhere in the world.

Where do you source your Larimar and Amber?

We work directly with trusted miners, lapidaries, artisans, and local suppliers throughout the Dominican Republic.

Our Larimar is sourced from Barahona, the only known source of authentic Larimar in the world, while our Dominican Amber is carefully selected through trusted local partners who share our commitment to quality, authenticity, and ethical sourcing.

Is your Larimar authentic?

Yes. Every Larimar piece we sell is made using 100% genuine natural Dominican Larimar.

Each purchase includes a Mauna Vibes Certificate of Authenticity, and whenever available, we are happy to provide additional information regarding the origin of your gemstone.

Please note that there is currently no official gemological laboratory dedicated exclusively to Larimar in the Dominican Republic. For this reason, many established Dominican Larimar businesses, including Mauna Vibes, provide their own Certificates of Authenticity based on direct sourcing, careful inspection, and industry experience.

Are your jewelry pieces handmade?

Yes. Every Mauna Vibes piece is handcrafted by skilled Dominican artisans using traditional jewelry-making and lapidary techniques.

Because every gemstone is natural and every piece is handmade, slight variations in color, shape, texture, silver finishing, and handcrafted details are normal and should be appreciated as part of genuine artisan craftsmanship.

Do you offer custom jewelry?

Absolutely. We love creating custom jewelry.

Whether you’re looking for a specific gemstone, size, silver setting, necklace, bracelet, collector specimen, or completely personalized design, we’d be happy to discuss your project.

Will I receive the exact piece shown?

Most of our one-of-a-kind jewelry, collector specimens, carvings, and unique gemstones are photographed individually, and the images and videos displayed are of the exact item you will receive.

For certain handcrafted collections, such as earrings, bracelets, bead necklaces, adjustable cord necklaces, and other multi-quantity or made-to-order designs, slight variations may occur due to the natural characteristics of genuine gemstones and artisan craftsmanship. These variations make every piece unique while maintaining the same design, quality, and specifications.

We photograph our products using professional lighting and multiple angles to represent them as accurately as possible. However, slight differences in color may occur due to natural stone variations, lighting conditions, and individual screen settings.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Because we begin processing orders quickly, cancellation or modification requests should be submitted as soon as possible.

Once production has begun or an order has shipped, we are generally unable to make changes. Please refer to our Refund Policy for complete details.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes. You’ll receive an order confirmation immediately after purchase, followed by shipping confirmation and tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

How long does shipping take?

All orders are shipped from the Dominican Republic using FedEx.

Processing Time 1–7 business days
(Custom-made items may require additional production time.)
United States & Canada Typically 1–10 business days
Europe & Rest of World Typically 3–10 business days

Delivery estimates do not include customs processing when applicable.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We proudly ship worldwide.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, or government fees imposed by their destination country.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email containing your FedEx tracking number.

You may also track your shipment through your Shop account when applicable.

Due to the handcrafted, one-of-a-kind, and often custom nature of our products, all sales are final.

Product Care

How should I care for my jewelry?

We recommend following the care instructions included with your order.

Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals, perfumes, lotions, chlorine, saltwater, excessive heat, and prolonged sunlight when applicable.

Store each piece separately in a soft jewelry pouch or box to help preserve its beauty.
